E-bike tours to discover the Brembana Valley

This Brembana Valley e-bike route will take you on a discovery of some of the valley’s most beautiful villages, set in an unspoiled mountain landscape. We start in San Pellegrino Terme, a renowned spa resort located at the foot of the Orobie Mountains.

From here we ascend to Zogno, a medieval village with a well-preserved historic center. From Zogno, continue to Foppolo, a ski resort located at 1800 meters above sea level.

From Foppolo we descend to Branzi, another medieval village famous for its cheese production. From Branzi we return to San Pellegrino Terme along the Val Brembana cycle route.

Advice:

  • The route is suitable for e-bikes with a range of at least 2000 mAh.
  • Appropriate cycling clothing and shoes are recommended.
  • Don’t forget to take water and food with you.
  • Respect the environment and do not leave trash along the way.

Variants:

  • If you have more time to spare, you can lengthen the route by including a visit to Lake Como or Monte Generoso.
  • If you are an experienced cyclist, you can try a more challenging route, such as the one up to Passo del Tonale.

How to get to San Pellegrino Terme: The resort is easily reached by train or bus from Bergamo.
